FAQS

WHAT IS THE THE LAST DAY FOR ORDERS FOR INSTALLATION PRIOR TO THE SUMMER SHUTDOWN?

Our Swiss factory is anticipated to close for 2 weeks , from 18th July to 10th August 2022.

To ensure that your windows are dispatched before the shutdown, orders where powder coating /special anodization is required need to be placed by Friday 12th May. For standard silver anodized windows, the last orders are on 2nd June.

WHAT PRODUCT CERTIFICATION DOES VITROCSA HAVE?

Vitrocsa Minimal systems fulfil all the European standards. All Vitrocsa window/door systems have been tested in Switzerland for design pressure, air infiltration and water penetration. Further Vitrocsa windows have been tested in the USA and Australia and exceed hurricane wind conditions of 360km p/h winds.

WHAT ARE THE SIZE RESTRICTIONS?

Vitrocsa Minimal can be built to any size specification. The limitation is determined by the maximum single panel glass size currently available from glass manufacturers worldwide. In the UK we are able to source panels up to 18m2 (6x3m). Obviously the opening can be much larger than this with the use of multiple panels. We can source larger panes of glass from continental Europe.

WHAT PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Vitrocsa Minimal currently has 8 systems available:

Sliding doors (3001 , TH+ and v32), Guillotine Sash windows, Pivot, TH+ and V32 with Invisible Track, Turnable Corner (sliding pivoting sytem). Vitrocsa Minimal continually invests in research and development so new products and refinements are made regularly.

Yes, our systems are the 3001 (suitable for interiors only in the UK), TH+ , V32 which are the different types of aluminium profiles used to create our products. In 1993 the original ‘3001’ system was invented by Eric Jouray the founder and designer of Vitrocsa Minimal. Since then Vitrocsa Minimal has developed the improved TH+ system which is used across all our products and is suitable for double and triple glazing up to 18m2. The most recent product is V32 which is the slimmest product of all with completely hidden top & bottom rails on sliding panels.
